Today we just released phpBender 1.0.0 which is distributed in a bundled that contains with 2 files; phpBender Flash component and phpBender PHP file. Since this component has been built on AS2, it will not run in any AS3 Flash applications. The development of phpBender for AS 3 environment itself is still ongoing.

Using phpBender, you can build a Flash-PHP based application easily, from simple to complex applications with simple methods, no installation requirement and most of all, it allows you to create custom PHP codes inside Flash itself or just simply execute other external PHP files. phpBender can also help your Flash application to communicate directly to the database; create your database queries, execute it with phpBender db class and it will do the rest tasks to grab and return the results back into your Flash application.
